In the 1920s and 1930s, Italy experienced its “golden age” in the world of spirits: aperitifs and bitters began to take over bars around the world!

Then, in 1936, came the boom: the TONIC NORMAL G. CONTRATTO CANELLI aperitif was born, becoming famous thanks to its iconic image of a smiling man drawn by Mario Gros, a renowned illustrator of the time.

And it is from these masterpieces of the past that we drew inspiration to create CONTRATTINO!
